Je suis né en 1965 dans la région parisienne. Pendant près de 10 ans, j’ai milité aux EIF (Eclaireurs Israélite de France) et étudié au lycée Yabné, A l’âge de 18 ans, après mon baccalauréat, j’ai émigré en Israël.
Ayant accompli mon service militaire israélien, j’ai étudié 6 ans à la yeshiva tout en obtenant un diplôme d’enseignement dans les matières “Bible” et “Talmud” (Loi orale). Ma première activité s’exerça dans le domaine de l’éducation informelle. J’enseignai également l’hébreu et les fondements du judaïsme à de nouveaux immigrants de l’ex-URSS. Après avoir été l’un des créateurs de la yeshiva militaire d’Har Beracha, je me tournai vers le journalisme radiophonique et entamai des études universitaires qui me conduisirent jusqu’au doctorat et post-doctorat en histoire juive. Après une mission de deux années pour le KKL (Keren Kayemet Leïsraël), je repris des études de droit à l’Université hébraïque de Jérusalem.
Parallèlement, je devins gérant d’une société de biens immobiliers à Tel-Aviv. Près de devenir avocat, je choisis d’étudier à l’Ecole de guides du ministère du Tourisme, située dans les locaux de l’Université hébraïque de Jérusalem. Ayant abandonné définitivement la carrière de juriste, je me consacre depuis au métier de guide, qui me permet simultanément d’enseigner l’histoire du pays, de partager ses richesses et de rencontrer des personnalités passionnantes.
